TV Cute Pets Photo Contest -
1. No purchase necessary. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local regulations apply. The KCCI-TV Cutest Pets Photo Contest (“Contest”) is sponsored by KCCI-TV (“Sponsor”).
2. Prizes and Odds of Winning. One finalist will be chosen randomly. The winning entrant will receive 12 gift certificates for pet (cat or dog) food valued at $420.
3. Eligibility. Contest is offered only to legal U.S. residents 21 years of age or older by the day the winner’s name is picked. Limit one prize per household. Limit one Finalist per immediate family. The term “immediate family” refers to parents, children, sibling, spouses, and in-laws, whether residing in the same household or not. Prize is non-transferable. Employees of KCCI-TV, KCCI Hearst Television, Inc., CBS Network and CBS affiliates, their parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, and their advertising or promotional agencies (collectively, the “Contest Entities”), and the immediate families or members of the same households of such individuals are not eligible. No groups, clubs, or organizations may participate in this Contest or reproduce or distribute any portion of these Rules to their members. Proof of age, identity, and eligibility must be furnished to Sponsor upon request. All entry form information must be complete and accurate. Sponsor will not award a prize to anyone not meeting eligibility requirements at the time of entry. Winners of a KCCI-TV contest within 365 days prior to the commencement of the entry period are not eligible. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if these Contest Rules are not followed.
4. To Enter. By entering, you agree to comply with all applicable law and these Contest Rules, and you agree to abide by all decisions of the Sponsor. The contest entry period begins at 12:00 p.m. on November 1, 2010, and ends at 11:59 p.m. local time on November 30th, 2010. To enter, viewers go to www.kcci.com and upload a photo of your dog or cat (photo submission) to KCCI-TV. Photos and form submissions will also be accepted at the KCCI studios. All eligible photos will be displayed on www.kcci.com. Contestant is the person submitting the photo. To be eligible, photo submission must meet the following criteria: (1) Photos must be deemed family-friendly. (2) There may be only one pet per picture. (3) You may only contribute photos that you have taken yourself or that you have all rights to transmit and license and which do not violate trademark, copyright, privacy or any other rights of any other person. (4) By entering, you grant permission for KCCI-TV to receive and display the photo of your pet as described herein. (5) You warrant that you have permission from all other persons appearing in your photos for you to make the submission and grant the rights described herein. (6) You may not contribute photos that contain expressions of hate, abuse, offensive images or conduct, obscenity or pornography or any material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under applicable law or regulations. (7) You may not upload any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or this website. (8) There is no limit to the number of photos you submit. (9) By uploading a photo, (a) you grant to www.kcci.com and Contest Entities a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, print, display, reproduce, modify, publish, post, transmit and distribute the photo and any material included in such photo on the Internet, on television, and in, on, or through all other media; and (b) you certify that any person pictured in the submitted photograph (or, if a minor, his/her parent/guardian) authorizes Contest Entities to use, copy, print, display, reproduce, modify, publish, post, transmit and distribute (“Use”) the photo and any material included in such photo on the Internet, on television, and in, on, or through all other media; and (c) you agree to indemnify www.kcci.com and Contest Entities and its affiliates, directors, officers and employees and hold them harmless from any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising from Use of the photo and/or your failure to comply with these rules. Sponsor can not verify receipt of entries. Entries become property of Sponsor and will not be returned. There is no limit to how many different entries or photos each person submits. Incomplete entries are void. Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, incomprehensible, illegible, damaged, undeliverable or delayed. Photocopied and mechanically generated entries are void. Entries generated by any automated means are void. In the event of a dispute, electronic and e-mail entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address at the time of the entry. The authorized account holder is the person to whom the applicable internet service provider or other organization (such as a business or educational institution) has assigned the e-mail address.
